Water
Tots, Tykes, and Preschool
through Adult
Children one to three years of age are introduced to the water in a way
most comforting to them. Parents and children participate together in
Water Tots & Tykes classes designed especially for small children.
Fun, games,
and nursery rhymes are used to introduce skills such as proper
entry/exit from pool, bubble blowing, water safety, motor
skill development, & underwater swimming.
Pre-schoolers
are introduced to the fun of exploring the water through
face submersion, bubble blowing, bobbing, supported floats
on front and back, kicking and basic arm action.
Intermediate
aquatic abilities are enhanced through primary skills and
stroke readiness.

The six
30-minute classes are taught by certified, mature professionals.
Actual in-pool time is 25 minutes. Water temperature is kept
above 86 degrees to insure a comfortable environment.
Different
Strokes Swim School is an authorized provider of the American
Red Cross swimming and water safety programs for all ages.
We tailor our lessons to follow their Learn-To-Swim Levels.
